SAD as speeding vehicle runs over KNUST student | VIDEO
A Level 300 Geography student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Afia Dedaa Osae-Atuah, has tragically perished following a road accident in Kumasi.
The incident transpired when a speeding commercial vehicle careened off the road, striking Osae-Atuah as she stood on a pedestrian pathway, clutching her malfunctioning laptop.
Eyewitnesses recount that the vehicle, seemingly out of control, not only ran over the 22-year-old student but also felled another male pedestrian, whose identity remains unverified. Both victims were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, where Osae-Atuah succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities are presently delving into the circumstances surrounding the accident. Meanwhile, tributes have begun to pour in for Osae-Atuah, whom her peers describe as a dedicated and promising student.
