BREAKING: 3 People Crushed To Death By A Faulty Truck At Adinkra | VIDEO
A disheartening news gathered indicates that, three(3) people have met their untimely demise at Adinkra in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti Region.
The three were crushed to death by a faulty truck.
The incident happened this morning, Friday, April 14, 2023 at the above-mentioned location.
Eye witnesses told Filasconews.com at the scene that, the three people were on a motor bike carrying four(4) people.
A Truck without a number plate, carrying spare parts and heading towards Obuasi from Dunkwao developed fault after one of its tyres bursted.
The driver then lost control of the vehicle and veered off his lane and crossed onto the other oncoming vehicles lane where it crushed the Motorcycle on board with four people.
Mr. Akwasi Firi, Mrs. Abigail and her daughter and Achiaa were the four people on the Motorcycle.
Two people, the rider(Akwasi Firi) and Abigail’s daughter died on the spot.
The remaining two were rushed to the Mangoase Government hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, Abigail also gave up her ghost shortly after arrival.
The remaining victim, Achiaa is currently receiving treatment.
The three bodies have been kept at the morgue for autopsy and preservation.
Investigation into the matter has been commenced by the Obuasi Police, while the driver of the truck is in custody assisting with investigation.
