A/R: One person reported dead, several others injured in “Aboboyaa”-Sprinter bus crash

One person is feared dead in an accident that occured at Akrokerri Junction, off Anwiankwanta-Obuasi road in the Ashanti Region.
According to the report, the accident happened on Monday, March 14, 2023, evening around 11pm.
It involved a Sprinter Bus with registration number AS 4808-22 and a tricycle popularly called Aboboyaa.
A vulcanizer at Akrokerri Junction who witnessed the incident, Musah Abu, narrating the incident to the media said, the tricycle had come to his shop beside the roadside to repair one of the tyres of his tricycle.
After the repair, the Tricycle rider parked the tricycle on the roadside to offload his loads and rearrange them well.
While arranging them, the Sprinter who was overtaking a KIA wrongfully veered off the road, running through them.
One person has been reported dead, while several others sustained injuries and have been conveyed to the hospital by the Police who were at the time of the incident around.
