According to the new calendar that has been introduced, the first school term vacation comes on 25th March, 2023, a reduction in the original date by four weeks which was scheduled for 21st April 2023.
When this newly introduced academic calendar takes effect, it will not only affect the number of weeks to be spent in school from 15 to 11 weeks for the first school term.
Also, the holidays will also be negatively affected as the new holidays period will be just 10 days before the start of the second school term.
