VIDEOS: Heavy downpour rips off roofs of Ejuraman Anglican SHS, Dozens of students hospitalized
Students, numbering about 40 have been hospitalized after a heavy downpour ripped off the roof of Ejuraman Anglican Senior High School in the Sekyedumase Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
Some of the students are in critical condition.
Majority of the blocks in the school have been ripped off their roofs by the rainstorm.
The incident happened on Monday evening, February 6, 2023, while the students were having their supper in the dinning hall.
The roof of the dinning hall was ripped off completely by the heavy rainstorm, injuring a lot of the pupils in the hall at that moment.
Other classroom blocks were also not spared by rainstorm.
The teachers have described the situation as very worrying and sad as they have not witnessed such a devastating incident before.
