NDC is suffering from leadership crisis, Chairman Ofosu Ampofo must go- JDM appointee.
An Appointee of the former President, John Dramani Mahama’s administration has stated without hesitating that, the problem of their party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is lack of leadership.
According to the staunch member of the NDC, the party is suffering from leadership crisis from the top hierarchy, and immediate steps must be taken to addressing the problem else, 2024 general election would be a disaster for the party as against the elephant party.
The deep-rooted NDC man mentioned Chairman Samuel Ofoso Ampofo as a non performing leader and unfit to lead the party to the impending 2024 election war.
Addressing the press in Kumasi on Monday, January 3, 2022 at about 6:20pm, Mr. Enock Amoako Nsiah, who was the Former National Security Coordinator in the Ashanti Region under the leadership of Mr. Dramani Mahama, the party needs a the radical change in leadership.
He said, Chairman of the NDC, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo has elapsed his usefulness in the party and must go to pave way for fresh and competent person to take over.
Mr. Amoako opined that, under the leadership of Chairman Ofosu, everything is not working for the party adding that, his poor and incompetent leadership skills contributed massively to their humiliation during the election, saying he has lost touch with the people.
The Security Capo elaborated that, Former President John Dramani Mahama is the sure bet in the upcoming 2024 to become President again but was quick to adding that, if, Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo remains the party Chairman, this positive dream for JDM will backfire.
“We need total overhauling in the party’s leadership, commencing from the Pentecost Elder, Ofosu Ampofo”, he stressed.
Mr. Enock Nsiah added that, not the Chairman alone, other executives of the must also leave for fresh faces to come.
Touching on the party’s communication department, he singled out Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi- the Communication Officer for the party as the only one speaking for the party now.
“It looks like we don’t have communication team, because you would only hear Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi defending and speaking for the party on issues, the rest are doing nothing.
All those people must be booted out from their posts for others to come, in order to give the party a new face and make it attractive for voters”, he stated.
He revealed that, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is performing abysmally but if their current party executives especially the Chairman still remain at post, they cannot overthrow the NPP.
Enock Nsiah Amoako is therefore appealing for the voters to kick Elder Ofosu Ampofo out and other executives.
When asked about his intention to vying for a position in the party in the Ashanti Region by the press, Mr. Enock Amoako Nsiah said, he would declare his intention later.
