New year’s Eve: Family of five perished in an accident
A family of Five (5) have perished in gory accident.
According to report, they were returning from 31st watch night but collided head-on their Toyota Corolla vehicle with registration number WR 2848 with an Articulated truck also with registration number GN 9828-20 at Akrofrom in the Ashanti Region on New year’s Eve, i.e Saturday’s Dawn, January 1, 2021.
Information gathered from the scene by filasconews pointed out that, the driver of the Toyota vehicle made wrong over-taking which resulted in the collision.
All the five family members couldn’t survive after rescue team made up of police and other locals arrived.
Their bodies have been deposited at the Akrofrom hospital for autopsy and preservation.
