Maame Serwaa, a cleaner and second hands cloth seller at Pankrono Methodist lorry terminal in the Old Tafo municipal assembly of the Ashanti Region has returned ghc 20,000.00 found during her usual cleaning up exercise at the lorry terminal to Rev. Elvis Kwadwo Sarpong the owner of the money.
Speaking to Joseph Amoateng, the head pastor of True worshippers Assemblies of God church who is the owner of the money said he was shocked when the lady returned the money to him which reminds him that, there are many sincere Christians in the world.
He used the opportunity to advised Ghanaians to be honest and faithful no matter what the economic challenges confronting them.
In her response, Maame Serwaa said that, she was though by the spirit through the teachings of her pastors of Methodist church Ghana not to take anything doesn’t belong to her.
She expressed worry about how some of her colleagues at the lorry station spoke against her on such move she took to returned the money to the owner.
