Current Economic Hardship: A misappropriation of funds by Akuffo Addo – Jake
The NDC Ashanti regional Communications Team Member, Jake Azantelow has blamed H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo for the current economic hardship and cedi depreciation.
Speaking with Sir Mike on “ASANTEMAN DAWURO” on Asanteman fm,he stated that the President has misappropriated the country’s fund on unnecessary so called policy intervention policies like, One Village One Dam, One Constituency One million Dollar which is giving no benefit.
He added that the dollar to cedi rate is on the rise and predicted that the rate can hit Ghc 14 by the end of this year.
He concluded that there are are too much taxes piling on traders and is affecting their businesses negatively.
However, financial expert Mr James Sarfo has urged traders to comply with the payment of taxes to support the country.
He said it is the only means through with the government can get money to run the country.
He expressed that, tax contribution is now going to be deepened as the country seeks bailout from the IMF.
