Man dies after woods fell on him at Wassa Abenabena
A man believed to be in his 30s is reported dead at wassa Abenabena in the Wassa Amenfi East Municipality in Western region.
According to reports, the deceased whose name was only given as alfred is a motor tricycle rider ( aboboyaa ) died on wednesday september 7, morning at about 10 am.
The deceased was reportedly transporting woods numbering about 30 pieces loaded on the tricycle from Wassa Nkoya to Wassa abenabena township.
However, the engine of the tricycle unexpectedly stopped and backtracked from a valley downstairs.
The woods accidentally fell on his head, killing him instantly.
An eye witness, ike, tells Denkyiraman radio news’ nana oppong adepa ababio alias d.J powuakor, the body of the deceased is left unattended to at the time of filing the report.
The deceased is married with about three children and a miner of persius mining company limited, denkyira ayamfuri.
