Hon. Ken Ofori Atta, the Finance Minister today, November 17, 2021, presented the 2022 budget statement in parliament.
The Minority in parliament has described as a budget of hardship. Addressing the press on behalf of the minority, Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson said, the budget has added more hardship on Ghanaians saying it is made of burden to the people.
But, the Majority has said, they are encouraged about the budget and have accepted with joy and in good faith.
The Deupty Majority Leader who spoke on behalf of the Majority told the press that, the budget gives relief to Ghanaians looking at the indications.
Hon. Afenyo Markins who also doubles as the Effutu Member of Parliament added, Ghanaians should have faith in the government as the budget read today by the Minister gives more hope that, jobs will be created in the year 2022.
“Infact we the Majority have accepted the budget with joy and we know Ghanaians will feel the goodness in it soon”, Hon. Markins stressed.
