A Big Figure in the New Patriotic Party is asking the party leadership to let the people know if the party is a family party.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has called on the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to remember the party father’s who sacrificed their life for the party to become what it is today.

He said he always get discouraged when he hears of the ‘Danquah- Busia- Dombo’ mantra in the party because its always dumps his spirit. He said he was once charged with treason where was that Danquah- Busia- Dombo statement.

He pleaded with the party leadership to put such comment aside and plan of the best way to move the party forward.

He made this comment after a party father in Assin Central donated his land to the party to build a constituency Party office.

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong thanked the party father Mr. Amoako Temeng for his selfless sacrifice towards the NPP party.

He urged NPP members in the country to emulate the unity and sacrifice in Assin Central NPP party and do same..

He said he never knew people love him like that until he declared his intentions to contest for President in Ghana.

He said everything to see in town is by the support of people. He urged his supporters to remain calm for now because the time for campaign is not due.
