Benjamin Kwadwo Asenso popularly known as King, believed to be in his 30s has committed suicide by hanging at Kyekyere in the Kyeraase Kyeraase Electoral Area of the Afigya Kwabre South District in the Ashanti Region.
The decomposing body of King was discovered on Thursday, August 18, 2022.
Narrating the sadden incident to Filasconews.com, the Assembly Member of the Electoral Area, Hon. Michael Adu Poku said, passerby residents discovered the body and informed him.
Together with the people, they proceeded to the scene and found the decaying body of Benjamin Kwadwo Asenso in an uncompleted building.
His neck was tied with mosquito net to a wood with his legs touching the ground.
However, the Assembly Member unearthed to this Portal that, the deceased stays in Accra but came to visit his Aunt in the community and met his untimely demise.
The Afrancho police has conveyed the body to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital’s morgue for autopsy and preservation.
Meanwhile, the residents suspect foul play.
They believe the decease was killed and hanged by his assailants in the uncompleted structure to cover their their bad deed.
Investigations into the matter have commenced by the police as the residents suspect foul play.
