Ghana Highway Authority carries out permanent works on Cape Coast-Twifi Praso road
The Ghana Highway Authority has carried out permanent works on the collapsed Jukwa bridge on the Cape Coast-Twifo Praso road.
For effectivity of the work, oneo the lanes on Cape Coast – Twifo Praso road was blocked on Monday, 27th June 2022 to yesterday, Thursday, June 30, for the maintenance works.
2022 latest report suggests that, series of consultations had been met with the authorities of Kakum National Park, Twifo Oil Palm Plantations (TOPP) and other vibrant institutions long ago on the road restructure.
Motorists travelling between Cape Coast and Twifo Praso Road were advised to slowing down because of the maintenance works on the bridge.
Police were deployed to the site to control traffic and also for protection.
The project had seen the permanent reconstruction of the collapsed bridge to avert any future tragedy.
