An Arab Company by name Arabsat satellite communication organization have dupped two Ghanaian Companies Two million Ghana cedis during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The ArabSat charged $650,000 per annum for the use of their satellite by signing contract with the two plaintiff for one satellite frequency.
Each Ghanaian company made payment to arabsat at the same months same year.
The case was taking to the Amasaman High court with evidence of fraud by one of the victims and received Judgement against Arabsat.
The judgement creditor/ Arabsat have turned a blind eye on the payment of the judgement debt.
The satellite which was given to the two plaintiff is now being operated by RCS in Ghana (angle 26), who receive money from Ghanian tv Channels and send the money to Arabsat.
RCS Ghana was garnishee to answer why the court should not ask them to pay the judgement debt to the Judgement creditor/ Plaintiff but the RCS Ghana came to the court claiming that the satellite are for free and that they receive the satellite from the Arabsat for free whereas there are evidence of payment by tv station in Ghana to them.
Newsmen are taken keen interest in the court proceedings.
