SAD: Chairman Wontumi’s vehicle knocks down at least 5 people at Elections Grounds
The regional elections of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region is ongoing at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Aspirants started trooping in at about 11am today to the elections ground.
Oheneba Kofi Adum Bawuah, chairman aspirant, Mr. Asare Bediako and many others arrived in peace.
The incumbent, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako a.k.a Chairman Wontumi during his turn paused at the entrance to give shots to his fans.
He drove himself.
He weaned himself through his dark colour open top wheel drive, danced to entertain the people.
Unfortunately, the car forcibly moved forward while he was returning into the vehicle, knocking down the people infront of the vehicle.
At least, five people fell on the ground.
No death was recorded.
Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah a.k.a COKA also arrived after that.
