Bishop Obinim Slaps Trader At Kenyasi Over Billboard(CONTACTS, PHOTOS)
Traders at Kenyasi Brofoyeduro Junction in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti were subjected to severe beatings by bodyguards of televangelist and Founder and leader of International God’s Way Church ‘Angel’ Daniel Obinim who led the way by first slapping one of them.
Some of the traders who run for cover when Angel Obinim and bodyguards stormed the market and vented their anger on the poor women.
Some of the victims speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Silver FM’s morning show dubbed Omanbapa and monitored by Filasconews.com said, “Angel Obinim constructed his billboard near the market so we came here the last time and realized they have repositioned the billboard into our market”
“After a heavy downpour recently, the billboard collapsed and some of his church members including some pastors came for it without finding out whether the billboard destroyed our goods or injured someone so we questioned them why they didn’t ask us anything before coming for the billboard,” they said
“The next day Angel Obinim came to the market with his bodyguards to search for his billboard. He came here with anger and started shouting at us. He threatened us told us over the billboard and I also told him he can’t take the law into his hands” one of the traders disclosed
“Angel Obinim slapped me for saying that and his macho men also came to attack me for saying that” she added
Another trader added that “Angel Obinim bodyguards took away my phone thinking that I was videoing what was going on. They seized my phone and they left the place after beating some of us without any provocation”
“We have reported the case to Kenyasi Abirem police command but we are yet to hear from them” they added
Meanwhile, a resident Pastor at angel Obinim’s church at Bosore branch Pastor Kobi has denied the allegations raised against Angel Obinim and his bodyguards.
“Angel Obinim and his bodyguards went to the market for peace and it is not true that some of the traders were attacked as they have framed the story just to disgrace Angel Obinim”, he revealed
Pastor Kobi however admitted that Angel Obinim Bodyguards seized the mobile phone of one of the traders because she was videoing the actions of Obinim and his bodyguards.
The case has been reported to the police
