Combining Local Gov’t and Chieftaincy Affairs will create a catastrophe- MP
Hon. Daniel Addo Kenneth has raised concerns about the president combining Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs together which is going to make that ministry so huge.
According to Hon. Daniel Addo Kenneth, Local government is an area that is very sensitive and have realised one of the major things that came up and was concerns of the Members of Parliament was the Acts that established the District Assembly Common Fund Administrator.
He also added that, for over the passed years the concerns of MP’s has been the prompt transfer of funds to the District Assemblies and also adequate transfer of funds to the District Assemblies which makes the Minister in charge of the District Assemblies find itself very
Finally, Hon. Daniel Addo urge the government to let be a special Agency that would take care of funerals of big personalities and higher profile persons and even festivals too which he believes the Ghanaian culture is very nice and attractive and it would drawn the attention of foreigners and the Ghana would gain much from it.
