Tepa: Woman, 48, gunned down
A devastating incident occurred in Tepa, Ahafo Ano North Municipal of the Ashanti Region, a 48-year-old woman, identified as Adwoa Serwaa, affectionately known as “Mama,” was brutally shot dead by an unidentified assailant around 7pm.
According to eyewitnesses, the deceased was sitting with her husband, Opanin Kwabena Frimpong, also known as Efo, and their five children in front of their house, preparing for their evening meal.
Suddenly, a gunshot rang out, and Adwoa Serwaa collapsed in a pool of blood.
The husband, Opanin Kwabena Frimpong, recounted the horrific incident to Abrantepa Kizaro, expressing his shock and grief.
The Tepa Police Command has launched an investigation into the attack and is working to apprehend those responsible.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Tepa Government Hospital morgue for autopsy and preservation.
