Thunder strike you dead – Osofo Kyiri Abosom curses EC, Media….
Ghanaian pastor-turned-politician, Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has made headlines with a bold and controversial move ahead of the upcoming elections. The founder of the Life Assembly Worship Centre has resorted to issuing curses, claiming it is a necessary step to deter potential wrongdoing during the electoral process.
Explaining his decision, Osofo Kyiri Abosom noted that while God ultimately punishes wrongdoers, His judgment often takes time. As a result, he has taken matters into his own hands by pronouncing curses on individuals and groups he believes could compromise the integrity of the elections.
In a video circulating online, the outspoken politician expressed concerns over possible electoral malpractice. He alleged that certain politicians might attempt to manipulate the results using underhanded methods and accused some key stakeholders of being likely enablers. Among those he targeted were the Electoral Commission (EC), journalists, and other media personnel, as well as fellow politicians.
“If there’s any rigging or foul play in this election, these are the people behind it,” he stated firmly. His curses, he added, were intended to act as a deterrent to ensure that no one interferes with the democratic process.
As Ghana gears up for what promises to be a highly contested election, the pastor-politician’s dramatic intervention adds another layer of intrigue to the political landscape. Whether his curses will have any tangible effect remains to be seen.
