The latest update coming from the Volta Region Hohoe confirms that about a thousand (1000) supporters or fans of the National Democratic Congress NDC defected to join the New Patriotic Party. Speaking in the video below, some of them expressed themselves to the media stating that the administration of the National Democratic Congress NDC does not help them when they come to power. Some of them coming from the Zongo communities added that they had never seen developmental projects in Zongo communities initiated and implemented by the National Democratic Congress NDC. Therefore, staying in the party is a waste of time and resources.
The report indicated that it was through the good works of the Honorable John Peter Amewu in the Volta Region (Hohoe Constituency) that pulled members of the NDC to join the New Patriotic Party. In addition, another set of 200 members of NDC in Abisem also joined the New Patriotic Party.
