C/R: Motor thief lynched
A motor thief has been beaten to death in the Central Region.
According to the report, the deceased, whose name was not given, picked an Okada from Agona Swedru to Agona Asafo.
However, upon reaching a very remote area, the pillion rider attacked the motorider with a knife and poured pepper into his eyes and sped off with his motor.
The Okada rider alerted his colleagues who gave the thief a wild chase and found him.
The thief was captured and beaten until he died.
His mortal remains have since been deposited at the Agona Swedru Hospital morgue for preservation whiles the Police continue their investigations.
Meanwhile, no arrest has been made yet.
