Lawyer Kwame Anokye has lectured Napo on the achievements of Kwame Nkrumah after the Bawumia running mate disrespected the first president.
History Lawyer Kwame Anokye has schooled Napo on his disrespectful comments about Kwame Nkrumah.
On Tuesday July 8, 2024, Matthew Opoku Prempeh Napo said Akufo-Addo is the greatest Ghanaian President and that “you can bring your Kwame Nkrumah”, his achievements can’t match the current government.
Both the comparison and how he described the independence hero as “your Kwame Nkrumah” has irked many on especially lovers of Nkrumah.
Lawyer Kwame Anokye went raw in his response to Napo.
He then schooled him on the contribution of Kwame Nkrumah to the course of his own tribe and region which included KNUST, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and other projects.
The Historian then talked about how Kwame Nkrumah made the Asantehene life President of the National House of Chiefs till the 1970s when Dormaahene and Okyenhene challenged the law and championed the current rotational policy where at the chiefs vote.
He also touched on how Kwame Nkrumah sent the National House of Chiefs headquarters to Manhyia.
