Family of KNUST student killed in a hotel blame hotel management
The family of Abena Koranteng, Engineering student of knust have blamed the management of the hotel in Takoradi where she was found dead for not helping the investigation into the matter.
A former student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Abena Koranteng, has been killed in a gruesome fashion during a trip with her boss to Kumasi.
Lois Abena Koranteng, a Petroleum Engineering Graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), travelled to Takoradi with her boss and their driver on a business trip.
The trio reportedly checked into a hotel together on the night of Friday, June 7th 2024.
However, the next day, hotel workers discovered the body of Lois wearing only bra and panties and floating in the hotel’s swimming pool.
She was rushed to hospital but had already passed away.
After a month of police investigations, nothing appears to have been done and her family are now crying out for justice.
According to them, the hotel has failed to provide any CCTV footage to aid in investigations claiming their cameras were not working that night.
