Breaking News: Man Beheaded In Oti Region
A man believed to be in his 40s has been confirmed dead and beheaded by some unknown assailants in Oti Region.
Our sources confirmed that this man was killed and beheaded on Monday at Ntewusua, a suburb community of Kete-Krachi in the Krachi West Municipality of the Oti region.
The eyewitnesses said ,a group of women who were going to farm on Monday morning met the lifeless body of the man with his head and private parts cut off.
The source said, the body of the deceased was found lying naked in the middle of a path leading to a farm, where the head and the private parts were cut off.
The Assemblyman of the area,Hon. Philip Donkor confirmed the incident to the media and said the case has been reported to the police in Krachi west.
Meanwhile, Police,the Assemblyman and together with the youth of the area have retrieved the body of the deceased, and has since been deposited into the Krachi West Municipal government hospital morgue for preservation and investigations.
Hon. Philip Donkor has noted that the investigation is ongoing and the media will be given details of the incident after the investigation is concluded.
