Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has been warned not to be complacent and think he already won the race for the flagbearership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because of the huge numbers that accompanied him to file his nomination forms.
Huge party supporters, mostly clad in colours thronged the party headquarters and its precincts to offer support to the second gentleman of the land.
Dr Bawumia after successfully the nomination forms held a mini rally at the party’s headquarters where he spoke about how he has helped President Akufo-Addo to achieve a lot for the country.
He further listed how he started from a himble beginning before rising to this level.
The huge numbers has been applauded by many with some pro-Bawumia candidates indicating it’s a sign of victory beckoning.
But Bishop J.Y Adu thinks otherwise as according to him, the huge crowd can be deceptive.
The man of God further encouraged him to concentrate on winning the hearts of delegates of the party through various means.
