“Collapse WAEC” – GNACOPS to Government

The Ghana National Council for Private Schools (GNACOPS) has called on the government to as a matter of urgency collapse the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
According to GNACOPS, WAEC is wasting a lot of talents in the country.
The Council has argued that the examination body has outlived its usefulness and has no positive impact or contribution towards Ghana’s education system.
Speaking on a Kumasi based Silver FM’s morning show hosted by Nana Kwabena Ampratwum monitored by Filasconews.com, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for GNACOPS, Mr. Samuel Nyamekye disclosed that, the procedures of WAEC is archaic in this modern days hence the need to collapsing it.
” You can get all A’s in other subjects but when you fail Mathematics, English or Science, your destiny is slumbered and shattered by WAEC….why?” Mr Nyamekye wondered.
