PHOTOS: Driver, Mate perish in a head-on-collision at Engleshie
Two people, a driver and his mate have been perished in a head-on-collision at Engleshie on the Kumasi-Accra Highway.
The gory accident which occured on Thursday, May 11, 2023, around 5pm involved two trailers.
One of the accidents trailers registration number was GW 1567 – 11.
According to eye witness and the assembly member for Breman Electoral Area, Hon.Obour Sika, one of the trailers bursted its tyre resulting into the collision.
A driver and a mate died on the spot.
Their bodies have been deposited at the morgue for autopsy and preservation.
Police have commenced investigation into the real cause of the accident.
