Kumawu: Stop damaging the hard-earned reputation of Dr Philip Yaw Bannor -Campaign team
The attention of our candidate for Kumawu’s vacant MP seat, Dr. Philip Bannor, has been drawn to media materials seeking to damage his hard-earned reputation.
We believe this is the handiwork of some faceless opponents in the Kumawu race who have come to the conclusion that they cannot win the contest on their own merits and, thus, must pull Dr. Bannor down with frivolous falsehoods.
While it is true that Dr. Bannor is in a divorce proceeding, he is advised against speaking to the media on the matter.
But what we can state categorically, based upon information in our possession the said publication about Dr. Bannor’s divorce proceedings contains significant falsehoods, which Dr. Bannor plans to address to clear his reputation at the appropriate time.
We, therefore, entreat the general public especially the good people of Kumawu to disregard the malicious publication and treat it with the contempt it deserves.
Dr. Bannor is undeterred and if given the nod, he will represent Kumawu to the best of his abilities.
We will again plead with the media to be more circumspect on matters like this.
