All Students in Single Track Schools to reopen next week
All students in Single-track schools in Ghana will officially begin the second semester of the 2023 academic calendar on Monday, 17th April, 2023.
According to the 2023 academic calendar for single track Senior High Schools, Form Three students, who commenced the 2023 academic calendar on January 10, 2023 and went on break on April 05, 2023, are expected to resume on April 17, 2023.
The Form Twos of the same category will also begin their second semester on April 17, 2023.
The Form Ones will also resume at the exact same date as the form threes and twos.. The second term will start from April 17, 2023 to September 15, 2023.
SHS Single Track Academic Calendar
Double Track Schools run a different academic calendar as compared to those in the single track schools. According to the 2023 academic calendar, form three students in double track, who are currently on vacation are expected to resume on 17th April, 2023. This is the same date as those in the single track schools.
For Those in Form two in the same category, students are expected to resume for the second semester on 11th April, 2023.
Form one students, who were in school for just a month are also on break. They will on vacation until 8th June, 2023. This is a nine-weeks vacation.

The Problem
Many Ghanaians hardly find the opportunity to identify their capabilities. Lack of knowledge of one’s capability leads to inability to set realistic goals for life. This then leads to nonachievement of one’s capabilities and potential, which in turn leads to disappointments in life
1. Explain “self” and the individual in relation to his or her capabilities.
Self‟ refers to the whole being of an individual, taking into consideration his personal and psychological nature, and abilities. Ones‟ capabilities imply what the person can do. These include the ability to think, remember, create, invent, control the environment and solve problems.
2. Identify actions of false identity and their related problems.
3. Explain Maslow‟s Hierarchy of Needs Theory and show how the theory will help one to achieve one‟s capabilities and improve one‟s self identity.
4. Explain how one can develop his or her capabilities to achieve one‟s ambitions
5. Demonstrate how they can assert themselves and build self confidence
Basic Schools in Ghana are currently on vacation. The second term starts from April 03, 2023 to June 15, 2023 and breaks from June 16, 2023 to June 26, 2023; with the third term starting from June 27, 2023 to September 14, 2023.
