KNUST MANAGEMENT has written officially to exonerate the former President of the KNUST SRC, Mr. Michael Abuah, and former Speaker of the KNUST SRC Parliamentary Council, Mr. Andrew Anokye Kyeremateng, the vice-president, Reginald Amo Yeboah, and Financial Secretary, Derek Dadzie after series of investigations over allegations of misappropriation of funds by the Disciplinary Committee of the university in a letter titled “letter of Exoneration ”
Based on the investigations and evidence elicited, the committee concluded that you did not misappropriate the funds.
“The vice-chancellor, as the chief disciplinary officer of the University has Considered the committee report and accepted the recommendations of the committee for your exoneration.
Therefore write officially on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor to exonerate you accordingly” the letter signed by the deputy registrar of academics affairs and dated February 23rd reads.

Until the controversial issue, the Abua-led administration was noted for paying over 6000 students who were on deferral for defaulting school fees payment.
