The Former President of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, affectionately called JDM has sent a message to the Minority Members of Parliament (MPs) after the approval of the Six(6) Ministerial nominees by Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana.
According to Former President Mahama, the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), together with their MPs agreed to rejecting all the nominees by the president as a way of reducing the elephant size state ministers.
Meanwhile, all the six nominees received their approval yesterday, Friday March 24, 2023 in parliament through secret voting.
Some Minority MPs swerved the party’s directive and voted to approve all the nominees.
After the approval, the Minority MPs in parliament have received a lot of backlashes from Ghanaians, calling out their bluffs.
Some Ghanaians have described the Minority MPs as hypocrites and sycophants.
The Former President and an aspiring flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama also took to his Facebook page to express his disappointment in the Minority MPs.
He has termed the action of the Minority MPs at the floor of the parliament house on Friday March 24, 2023, as a betrayal against the party.
He said, he is really disappointed in the NDC MPs for approving all the nominees.
