Central Region: Lawyer Seth Agyapong submits nomination forms to contest in HLD parliamentary primaries
On Monday, March 20, 2023, Lawyer Seth Agyapong-Mensah submitted his NDC Parliamentary Nomination Forms to contest in the party’s impending primaries for the 2024 General Elections in the Hemang Lower Denkyira(HLD) Constituacy of Central Region.
The Forms were received by Mr. Benjamin Ntiful, the Director of Elections at the Constituacy office at Jukwa.
Mr. Benjamin Ntiful requested to submitted a receipt evidencing payment of nomination fee in bankers draft in favour of the NDC Headquarters.
This is in line with the guidelines and modalities published by the party for the conduct of its Parliamentary Primaries.
Speaking to Bankam Fm Morning Show host Isaac Amponsah after the short ‘ceremony’, Lawyer Seth Agyapong-Mensah said,Hemang Lower Denkyira seat does not belong to the NPP and he’s the only candidate that can win the seat in 2024 General Elections for the NDC.
He further encouraged party faithfuls to massively support and vote for him in the upcoming parliamentary primaries to ensure victory in 2024 for the party.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will hold its presidential and parliamentary primaries on Saturday, May 13, 2023, to elect a flagbearer and parliamentary candidates for the 2024 elections.
The submission and filing of forms for parliamentary aspirants would also took place from Monday, March 20, 2023, to Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at a fee of GH¢40,000.
Subsequently, vetting for the aspirants will be held from 27th to 29th March 2023.
