A/R : Woman, 28, found dead at Kusa Junction
A 28 year old woman, identified as Akua has been found dead at Adansi Kusa Junction in the Adansi North district of the Ashanti Region.
According to the Assembly Member for Kusa Electoral Area,the deceased Akua is believed and suspected to be an epileptic and mentally deranged patient whose relatives are yet to be identified.
He again added that, on the 22nd Febuary 2023 at about 6:30 pm the deceased Akua was spotted roaming on the street of Kusa and she had seizure and fell unconscious,sustaining injury on her face in the process.
He stressed, she was rushed to the Fomena health center by Hon. Akwasi Afoakwa, the Assembly member for kusa electoral area for treatment where she was treated and discharged but on the 23rd Febuary 2023 at 6:00 am, the victim Akua was found lying dead at Kusa junction.
He said that it is believed and suspected that the deceased had another episode of her seizures and fell unconscios resulting to her death.
Finally, he pleaded the general public to help trace the relatives of the deceased whose body deposited at Adansi Adiembra peaceland mortuary in Adansi Asokwa district for preservation and identification pending autopsy but failure for the relatives of the deceased to come to identify and claim the body after the statutory period, the district coroner will be informed to dispense with the holding of any inquest touching the body of the deceased to enable the police and Environmental officers to bury the deceased.
