Suspected armed robber killed, dumped on roadside at Winneba
A man believe to be in his thirties has been allegedly killed and dumped along roadside at Winneba in the Effutu Municipality of the Central Region.
The deceased who was suspected to be an armed robber was on Thursday, March 16,2023 early in the morning was found dead with a knife and screw driver besides him.
It is Suspected he was caught in the act of stealing and was killed.
He was lying lifeless along the Winneba Water Works Road near ICGC Church.
The Resident who went to the scene Suspected that the Deceased was the Notorious armed robber who is harrasing them and stealing them from the area.
They said, Thieves are disturbing them in the area.
He was found naked wearing shocks.
Police at Winneba were informed and have since conveyed the body to the Winneba Specialist and Truman Hospital Mortuary for autopsy and preservation.
Meanwhile, police are doing investigation to the matter.
Police are also mauhanting for the family of the deceased.
No arrest has been done so far.
