Heavy downpour renders residents of Mountain View homeless, several properties destroyed | VIDEO
On 7th February, Greater Accra experienced a heavy downpour and as a result of that some part of Accra got flooded and affected some residents in the Bortiano Ngleshi Amanfrom consistency, specifically mountain View (Fulani junction) Baba Dongo, Bortiano, Toll booth and Old Barrier.
Through this, a mother lost her two minor children 11 years and 9 years.
However, the residents of mountain View (Fulani Junction) has Also suffered some losses, houses were flooded, the road Network blocked, properties were destroyed.

In an interview with Atinka tv reporter SAMUEL NYAMEKYE JNR, some of the residents are still living in fear because, there is no proper drainage system in the area, so anytime it rains the area gets flooded.
Meanwhile, they are calling on the central government, the member of parliament Hon Sylvester Tetteh and the MCE, Hon Joseph Nnyani to come to their aid as promised some two months ago.
According to the residents, if the drainage system is not fixed immediately, then flooding would be worse than yesterday in the coming days.
