Human Trafficking: How young girls were used for indecent videos by their employers(couple)
Usikimye organization founder Njeri Wa Migwi has narrated how young girls ended up being forcefully used to film indecent videos.
In a post on her Facebook page, Njeri revealed that they received an alert about the trafficking house. When she arrived, those inside declined to open but she lied that she was the owner of the building and needed to get in.
When they entered, they found ring lights, mattresses and other items. Police went in and carried out the raid.
Njeri revealed that the trafficked girls were taken to the house from upcountry after being lied to that they would get jobs. After the interviews, they are taken to the house where they are locked inside and never given a chance to get out.
There, they were forced to make indecent live videos for clients who are abroad. They were fed only one meal a day and sometimes denied food when they don’t meet the day’s target. They are also physically abused and insulted.
The perpetrators are a young couple.
Njeri revealed that the young girls will be taken to a safe house for care and counselling.
