Survivor of leaked s3x videos and photos, Abena Gyae(not real name), as she wants to be identified, said she was going to kill herself after a man posted her nude photos and videos of her online.
According to her After graduating from high school, she met a man from her area with whom she started a relationship.
Although he never had sexual contact with this person. She says she asked him to send her nude pics, which she obliged and sent.
But after a while, the man started using the photo to blackmail her and ask her for s3x.
When she refused to give the man s3x. She said the man published the nudes online.
However, she was able to share her troubles with her father, who reacted quickly and involved the police in the matter. So the man was arrested by the police and forced to delete the photos.
She disclosed that, she wanted to end it all by killing herself.
She also wanted to run away from home to hide from the shame that enveloped her.
The victim said the situation affected her personal relationships with the men. specifically from Nigeria because the person concerned was a Nigerian.
She said though none of her friends or men had sent her nude photos. She didn’t know if the boy shared it because he was so aggressive.
I immediately felt better. I felt like my life was over because when you saw how my parents loved me. such a disgrace was a stick fight. It was so scary even if I had poison. I would have taken it to die. I killed myself many times, especially when my father found out and said I brought disgrace to my family.
