WN/R: Residents suspect foul play in the death of 7-year-old boy at Bassengley
Section of the residents of a community called Bassengley, near Bibiani in the Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region are confused about the sadden demise of a 7 year old boy in the community.
Richard Awuni, 7, was found dead in a pond a day after he was reported missing by his father, Mr. Kofi Awuni.
His death has shocked the community. Some believe he might be killed and dumped in the fish pond.
But, there was no evidence of murder on the his body after it was retrieved from the pond.
His body has been conveyed by the Bibiani Police and deposited at the Bibiani Government hospital’s morgue for autopsy and preservation.
Police have commenced investigation into the circumstances that led to the death of the boy.
