Save Life Foundation Feeds Cripple Siblings At Nkwatakese
Non Governmental Organization (NGO) at Abrade in the Kwabre East district of the Ashanti Region, SAVE LIFE Foundation has donated a quantity of food and other items and some cash to a couple with two children who are both cripple from birth.
The food items included bags of rice, tomato paste, mackerels , tins of milk, bars of key soap, sugar, cooking oil, fruit drinks, tuber of yam, gari and toiletries as well as physical cash.
Presenting the items, the CEO of the Save Life Foundation, Prophet Osei Kofi aka Nana Boafo said members of the NGO were touched by the plight of the children and decided to donate the items to address some of their challenges.
He hoped the items would go a long way in helping the children since they could not Walk nor work to help their parents.
The eldest who is a girl and now 18 years old and his brother who is 16 years have never walked and can not talk too. This has affected the parents financially since they can not leave them alone to work.
Prophet Osei Kofi hoped the items would go a long way in helping the children and their parents who are not working now.
Receiving the items, mother of the children madam Afia Birago thanked the NGO for the donation and called on other NGOs and the well to do in the society to help solve the numerous challenges facing them at home.
Madam Afia Birago, appealed to other NGOs for financial assistance to enable them do some business that could help them get money to support their disabled children.
