Prominent Chief in Gonjaland dead?
MyNewsGh.com is learning that a prominent Chief in the Gonjaland Traditional Area has died.
According to our sources, he died on the dawn of Saturday February 4, 2023 in his sleep.
However, the cause of death has not been made public and the family is following the customary processes in accordance with with the tradition to officially make the news public.
His death comes as a shock to many barely a fortnight after the Lepowura Alhaji MND Jawula.
As of the time of filing this report, the family was preparing for a subchief to make an official announcement of the death with other traditional processes currently underway to ensure a smooth succession.
The late Chief was enskinned 13 years ago and has been leading his people and ensuring the needed development to brought to communities under his authority.
