C/R: Pot Thief Busted At Breman Kontenase
A man believed to be in his 30’s has been arrested for stealing two big pots at Breman Kontenase in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa district of the Central Region.
According to residents, the suspect is a known thief who has been arrested before for stealing.
The suspect, known as Kweku is said to have gone to the community steal on Monday, January 30, 2023, at dawn to steal.
The owner of the pots saw him stealing them and hence confronted him to stop, but the suspect allegedly attempted to rape her which made her call for help.
Neighbors heard her screaming and rushed to her aid and found the suspect trying to steal these pots and arrested him.
He was tied to an electricity pole before he was made to carry the stolen items through the principal street of the Breman Kontenase Community before being handed over to the police for investigation.
