DCE commissions two projects in Atwima Kwanwoma District
District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma District, Hon. Prince Karikari on Friday 27th January ,2023 Commissioned a six (6) unit classroom block at Ahenema Kokoben and three (3) unit classroom block at Adumasa in the same District.
The facility was built with financial support from district Assembly common fund.
Speaking at a separate short durbar, Hon. Prince Karikari the DCE, commended the Assembly for supporting the District for putting up the 6-unit classroom and 3- unit class room blocks. In his remarks noted that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo placed importance on education and that is why he introduced free Senior High to make education accessible to all.
Hon Karikari also urged the Teachers and the two communities to take good care of the facilities and avoid writing on them.
The DCE after the commissioning of the two projects revealed that there a lot of other uncompleted projects in the District which would be attended to and the development of the district is on track and urged all to support government to deliver.
Nana Owusu Banahene, chief of Adumasa cautioned parents to take good care of their wards by bathing them, providing neat uniform and good food for them before they come to school. He urged parents to priorities their children’s education and invest in them.
Nana Owusu Banahene finally thanked the District chief executive Hon. Prince Karikari and the contractors for the good work done. He then appealed to the assembly to assist them the expansion of their JHS classroom block and the construction of their health center.
Presenting the keys to the Headmasters of the Adumasa primary school and Kokoben D/A primary School, the assembly member for Adumasa electoral area Hon Lawrence Asumang express his in depth gratitude to the DCE and the contractor and also asked the DCE to assist them with computers and ICT lab.
