VIDEOS: Fatal Accident At Atakrom Claims One Life On The Spot, Others Unconfirmed
A fatal lorry accident that occured on January 21, 2023 at Atakrom, a town next to Mankranso in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region has left one person dead.
Several others are also injured.
The deceased, a male passenger died instantly when the accident happened. The number of casualties in the accident cannot be confirmed now apart from the one who died on the spot.
In a brief explanation in an interview with Filasconews.com, one of the accident victim said speeding on the part of their driver caused the accident.
He said one of the tyres of the vehicle burst, leading to the accident.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle summersaulted into the government forest on the roadside at Atakrom.
The injured were rushed to two separate health facilities for treatment. Adugyama Hospital and Mankranso Government hospital.
