Gender Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs. Akua Afriyie has advised parents to be extra careful on their wards during the Christmas festivities to prevent them from being kidnapped.
Mrs. Akua Afriyie who doubles as the Queen Mother of Adowa Gospel Group in Ghana says parents and guardians should not allow their children to be roaming about anyhow but must monitor and protect them from evil plotters especially kidnappers this Christmas.
She said parents should not leave their underage children to strangers, no matter how the situation may be.
Mrs. Afriyie disclosed this to the media after she visited some areas in Kumasi to speak to section of the street children.
After the visitation, she called on parents to keep closer to their children and take good care of them in order to curb the increasing rate of street children in Ghana.
Also, she advised the Children to refrain from bad behaviours and live a good life.
