Dancehall artist killer sentenced to death at Cape Coast
The Cape Coast High Court ‘A’ presided over by His Lordship Emmanuel Lodoh has on Friday January 20, 2023, sentenced the killer of renowned Cape Coast based Dancehall Artist ‘Unruly Grank’ to “death by hanging”.
The accused, Bright Ellis, popularly known as ‘Shadow’ stabbed the budding Dancehall Artist with a knife over an alleged music beef.
Emmanuel Aikins, 24, the deceased artist’s met his untimely death at the Orange Beach Resort in the Cape Coast Metropolis of the Central Region at about 15:00hours GMT on 7th February, 2021.
In an interview with Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan after the ruling, Mother of Okuapeman the deceased artist Madam Kate Swanzy expressed her excitement over what she termed a fair ruling.
She urged Ghanaians always exercise patience in matters relating to court trials for proper findings to be carried out to ensure justice is served.
