We don’t have money to fix traffic lights – Ashanti Regional Minister

The Ashanti Regional Minister Hon Simon Osei Mensah has said the government has no money to fund the repair of damaged traffic lights in the cities and on the road.
The Minister speaking on Orange Sunrise on Orange FM in Kumasi hosted by Alfa Ali stated that the contractors and the engineers have left site because of lack of money hence he cannot guarantee the immediate repair of the ineffective traffic lights in the region.
“You want me to lie to you but I cannot lie to the public. The fact is there’s no money to pay the contractors and the engineers to repair the traffic lights that are not working.
That was why they have left site and the assembly also do not have money to repair them”, Hon Simon Osei Mensah said during the interview.
