A/R: Fire razes down at least 4 bedrooms at Anomangye(VIDEO)
A Full apartment with Four(4) bedrooms flat have been burnt by a fire outbreak.
The incident happened on Monday January 9, 2023, at Anomangye in the Suame Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The house was razed down completely by the inferno.
Eye witness told Filasconews.com Kwame Wiredu a.k.a Sanitation Ambassador that, the occupant of the house could not pick a pin from the house.
She said they heard the people living in the house calling out for help on Monday’s morning when the fire started.
They proceeded to the place and saw the house being gutted by the fire.
Personnel from the Regional Fire Service arrived at the scene to control the fire but the house and everything in it have been consumed by the fire outbreak.
“Not even a pin was saved. The four bedroom flat, toilet and a bathhouse have all burnt”, the eye witness added.
Mr. Owoahene Acheampong, the landlord also revealed in an interview with the press that he was not at home when the incident happened.
He said he heard the news through a phone call and rushed to the house to rescue his wife who is sick(stroke) and was sleeping inside one of the rooms.
Luckily, he was able to save her.
Finally, DOII Okyere Mensah, Fire officer from Bremang in the Suame Municipality who led the team of fire officers to control the fire said they had the information late but did their best to get to the place as quickly as they can but, unfortunately, the harm has been done.
He used the opportunity to advice the general public to put fire into good use and quench it immediately after it’s usage to avoid unfortunate incidents.
