Atwima Hwediem establishes Education Endowment Fund to support needy students
The Chiefs and residents of Atwima Hwediem in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region have initiated education endowment Fund called, HWEDIEM EDUCATION AND CAREER ASSISTANCE FOUNDATION for school children in the area and it’s to help needy and brilliant students in be the community to go out through their education.
Engineer Isaac Tenkorang who works at the Local Government Decentralization and Rural Development Ministry who established the Foundation said he and some colleagues who also come from Atwima Hwediem have decided to improve education standard of students at Hwediem.
The former Assembly Member of Trabuom/Hwediem Electoral Area who doubles as the Secretary of Ashanti Regional Association of Sachet Water, Honorable Kofi Antwi Agyei called on the beneficiaries to show appreciation for the gesture by studying hard so they can also become useful citizens capable of also supporting generation after then and appealed to the parents of the beneficiaries to ensure thier wards take their study seriously because no nation could be successful without education.
