Google makes it easy for you to quickly get to almost all of the information on the planet. But just because you can look for anything doesn’t mean that you should. Because mobile searches have changed so much, Google has become an important part of our lives.
There are, however, many things you should never Google. There are things like strange photos, disturbing movies, strange facts, and your own fears. Here are the top ten things you should never look up on Google.
Some words may seem harmless, but when you search for them, you might find explicit or scary things. You could be shown gory pictures or sent to one of the disgusting websites. Keeping the Safe Search feature on is usually a good idea.
1- Words that sound fishy
You could get into a lot of trouble if you look up things like “how to make amphetamines” or “how to make a bomb.” It doesn’t matter if you’re just a curious teen who wants to learn more and has no bad intentions. Security and drug control services keep an eye on searches for phrases that look suspicious. A few years ago, someone in a New York home looked up “pressure cooker bomb,” while someone else looked up “backpack.” Soon, the local government was at their door.
2-Your symptoms and signs
If you have a health problem, you should see a doctor instead of looking for answers on Google. Some people spend hours looking at their symptoms to try to prove to themselves that they have cancer or something else rare. Seeing a doctor will give you a much better idea of what’s wrong. There’s a chance that your cold is just a cold.
3- Information about drugs or health problems
Google says that advertisers aren’t allowed to show you ads based on sensitive information like your religious beliefs or health information.
But Google does not have the best track record when it comes to customer safety and privacy. It still keeps track of your search results, links them to your Google account or IP address, and shows ads on all of its products and services.
Several experts have found that using Google to look up information about medicine and drugs puts your privacy at risk.
